Meet Me @ “The Hub” – Discover, Collaborate, and Accelerate at SC14

“The Hub” is a social invention created by Intel for you to socialize and collaborate on ideas that can help drive your discoveries faster. It is located in the Intel booth (1315) at SC14.

Parallelization and vectorization are just not that easy. It is even harder if you try to do it alone. At “The Hub,” you will have the opportunity to listen, learn and share what you and your peers have experienced. The goal is to help you create, improve or expand your social network with respect to peers engaged in similar optimization and algorithm development. Intel will be providing discussion leaders to get the conversation started on various topics including OpenMP, MKL, HPC, Lustre, and fabrics. We will also be holding discussions on the intersection of HPC and specific vertical segments (life sciences, oil and gas, etc.), as well as holding special events in the collaboration hub, including a book signing with James Reinders and Jim Jeffers and a discussion on women in the science and technology.

If you're heading to the show, stop by and "Meet Us @ The Hub" in booth 1315 for a challenging and intellectual opportunity to talk with your peers about parallelization, vectorization and optimization.
