Ready for Oracle Open World? – Or why I like spending Sunday evenings with Larry Ellison

It’s  that time of year again—when Oracle Open World takes over (overwhelms) the city  of San Francisco.  The big opening event  is always Larry’s keynote on Sunday evenings, when he announces new products,  benchmarks and his personal perspective on the world of technology. I also  expect we’ll see a much higher profile from Mark Hurd, now that he’s been onboard for about a year.

Kirk Skaugen will deliver  the Intel Keynote on Datacenter 2015 and the Impact of Intelligent Devices, on Tuesday at 1:30PM in the Novellus Theater at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts – (Remember—you  need to exit Moscone and walk to the theater!).

While  there are the usual lineup of additional CEO keynotes, Intel will follow up  with a robust roster of more detailed enterprise presentations, along with a number of Customer Events with a focus on Exalogic and Exadata.  I’ve included some of my favorites below:

We’ll also have a full booth on the show floor with a large number of partner demos  and regular presentations.
