Craig Chvatal is a Principal Engineer and Director of Platform Architecture and Governance in Intel IT’s Enterprise Data & Platform organization. He is responsible for the overall strategy, enablement, and delivery of Intel’s enterprise application and integration, ERP, collaboration, and BI/Big Data environments. Most recently, he has been responsible for architecture and delivery of a new in-memory database platform technology that will simplify and transform the ERP and BI landscapes at Intel. In addition to his 17-plus years with Intel, Craig has worked at the University of Arizona as a staff advanced technology specialist and the Northwest Evaluation Association as a database architect. His specialties include enterprise resource planning architecture and infrastructure as well as business intelligence (BI) architecture and design. He also has extensive expertise in enterprise data warehousing, progressive technical people management, and SAP BI platform management. Craig holds a B.S. in management information systems from the University of Arizona.
