Building a Mobile Application Development Framework

I'm very proud to introduce a whitepaper we created in collaboration with IT@Intel, to introduce the world to how we have taken mobility to the next level inside Intel. This is the very topic that I will be covering during my Intel Developer Forum (IDF) presentation, "IEIS003 - Intel IT: Application Development for Mobile Devices" on Thursday at 2:30 pm in room 2007 at the Moscone Center, San Francisco.

Abstract for the presentation:

Intel IT made a conscious decision to support the “Consumerization of IT” trend and created a “Bring Your Own Device” program. This decision has, in turn, influenced our software development practices. As we continue to evolve our approach, we are optimizing the management mechanisms and security implementation in order to stay true to our focus on user experience. In this session, hear about:

    • The Intel IT framework, which is composed of infrastructure, services, devices, governance, and developer practices, to help accelerate the delivery of applications to mobile devices
    • Intel IT’s new approach to software development, including how we create compelling and consistent user experience on a variety form factors, varying interaction models and content control

Hope to see you there.

I'm very interested in any comments (and questions) you have regarding the whitepaper.
